Etisalat Kicks off Nigerian Photo Competition

Etisalat Nigeria, in conjunction with its commitment to promote creativity and innovation, has recently announced the opening of Etisalat Photography competition.

This Competition encourages upcoming photographers to capture and celebrate fascinating pictures that reflects the diversity and daring spirit of our expressions. The competition begins series of activities leading to the opening of the 7th edition of the Etislat-sponsored annual Lagos photo festival.
According to the Director, Brands & Experience Etisalat Nigeria, Elvis Ogiemwanye said that Etisalat Photography Competition uses the power of photography to create stories the involve individual experiences and identities from across Africa.
He also added that this years edition is tagged Performance; action repeated constantly, becomes a ritual, transference into other spaces of engagement becomes a performance. We wish to explore further these performances through the strength of photography in depicting our daily routines and celebratory, the competition serves as a platform for expressions and creativity at its peak.
 
This years Etisalat photography competition, submission of entries will be open from August 8th to September 1st, 2016.
"To enter for this years competition, eligible participants are required to visit photo.etisalat.com.ng to get registered and submit entries for both the daily routines and celebratory. Voting will be announced after the entry closes at 11:59pm on September 1, 2016. The top 50 images from each category will be reviewed by a panel who will the unveil the finalists t the Grand opening of the LagosphotoFestival.
Prizes for the first, second and third will be; a canon camera, an iPhone, and a Samsung respectively.
The shortlisted photographers will also be enrolled at LagosPhoto Summer School where they are expected to advance their skills.
