ATM usage in NIgeria exceeds UK, Ghana.

Its has been recorded that the percentage of users of the automated teller machine (ATM) in Nigeria has far exceeded that of the United Kingdom (UK) and Ghana, a technology firm Computer warehouse has said.
Chief Executive officer of CWG, Mr James Agada who disclosed the outcome of an assessment the firm carried out, said the average ATM in Nigeria dispenses thrice the number of notes in Ghana and 10times the number of notes in the UK.
Agada who spoke at an ICT editors workshop which was organized by the technology firm at its group academy in Lekki, Lagos said though the number of the ATM's deployed across the country fell short of the requirement set down by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), it has not deterred users.
"The core issues we have with the ATM's is that we don't have enough of them and the few around are usually overfilled," Agada said.
The CWG chief also spoke bout the background of ATM related frauds in the country, said it is not conversant to the Nigerian environment, but was a global challenge that was receiving attention from various aspects. He said that there was more security in the country than in the United State of America (U.S.A)
" There is nowhere you carry out transactions without the risk of some fraudulent potential, recall the Central Bank of Bangladesh was scammed and lost $80million to fraud which has gone untraced till date.So if the system of Central Bank could be compromised by these fraudsters , no one is spared."

Meet the 8-year-old girl raised by monkeys

An 8-year-old girl was found living with monkeys in a remote nature reserve in Bahraich, northern India. The girl has now been dubbed Mowgli 2.0 because of the similarity of her story with the story of the boy in The Jungle Book who was brought up by wolves. The girl was discovered by a group of woodcutters working in the area who then alerted government officials and she was rescued from the region near the Nepal border. The girl did not seem happy about being uprooted from the only home she knows, she then screeched like a monkey, which it was soon discovered is the only way she knows how to communicate.  It was also discovered that the girl could not walk like a human and instead moved on all fours, the way animals do and she runs away at the sight of humans. Authorities say she seemed comfortable among the apes at Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, close to the border with Nepal. It has not been discovered who she is, where she came from and how long she has been in the

Drugs, Brains And Behavior: The Science Of Addiction

Early use of drugs increases a person’s chances of developing addiction. Remember, drugs change brains and this can lead to addiction and other serious problems. So, preventing early use of drugs may go a long way in reducing these risks. If we can prevent young people from experimenting with drugs, we can prevent drug addiction. Risk of drug abuse increases greatly during times of transition. For an adult, a divorce or loss of a job may lead to drug abuse; for a teenager, risky times include moving or changing schools. In early adolescence, when children advance from elementary through middle school, they face new and challenging social and academic situations. Often during this period, children are exposed to abusable substances such as cigarettes and alcohol for the first time. When they enter high school, teens may encounter greater availability of drugs, drug use by older teens, and social activities where drugs are used. The yearly increase in population of you

The major parts of the Respiratory System and their functions

The cells of the human body constantly needs a consistent flow of oxygen to remain alive. The respiratory system attains this great responsibility as it holds the function of providing the body cells with oxygen while removing Carbon[IV]oxide and other gaseous products as waste. The respiratory system therefore enables us to breathe (which involves  inhalation and exhalation of air in the body).  It consist of 3 major parts which include: The Airways: This consists of the nose/nostrils, mouth, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi& bronchioles. This  parts functions as an air transporter between the outer body and the lungs. The Lungs : This is the functional organ of the respiratory system, it passes oxygen into the body and CO2 out of the body Finally The Muscles of Respiration; they include the diaphragm and the intercostal muscles, which work together to act as an air pump in and out of the lungs during breathing. Parts of the Respiratory Airways. NOSE/NOSTRILS:  T
