Its has been recorded that the percentage of users of the automated teller machine (ATM) in Nigeria has far exceeded that of the United Kingdom (UK) and Ghana, a technology firm Computer warehouse has said. Chief Executive officer of CWG, Mr James Agada who disclosed the outcome of an assessment the firm carried out, said the average ATM in Nigeria dispenses thrice the number of notes in Ghana and 10times the number of notes in the UK. Agada who spoke at an ICT editors workshop which was organized by the technology firm at its group academy in Lekki, Lagos said though the number of the ATM's deployed across the country fell short of the requirement set down by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), it has not deterred users. "The core issues we have with the ATM's is that we don't have enough of them and the few around are usually overfilled," Agada said.
